| Inphase Website Behind Schedule
We have noticed that Inphase has already rescheduled the
completion date for its website several times in the past two years.
We go behind the scenes and interview the owner to find out why Inphase
Hosting is so late in publishing its site.
The company's owner, Robert, highlights the problem
and explains the company's next move.
"Where I went wrong was to change the entire
website structure and layout from the original plan. When I did
that, I started running behind schedule and couldn't get caught up.
Now I understand the old saying, 'Don't change horses in the middle of
the stream.' That's what I attempted to do."
But there is a good side to the problem as Robert
continues, "It reminds me of another old saying: 'The mechanic doesn't
have time to repair his own car.' It seems that is where we are
right now. Business is pretty good and it doesn't leave much time
to work on our own site."
So what's the outcome? The problem resolution?
Robert ensures us of a positive outcome:
"In a way it has helped us recognize a common problem
that other business owners have—time, or the
lack thereof. As we scramble to fix our problem with a temporary
site, we believe that solution may be the answer to someone else's
problem too. We see by offering a free website on a temporary
basis, we could help a business become established on the Internet
quickly, until a preferred, more sophisticated, website can be
designed and published."
Robert offers his apologies for taking so long to
publish a website so he can better serve you. But, he also thanks
you for your faithful business and hopes that you will enjoy this
temporary website until the planned more permanent one is published. |
